2024 APAC Graduate Programme – Securities Services, Client Delivery – Hong Kong

Our two-year graduate programme is designed to provide you with first class training and immediate responsibility, it gives you the support and development you need to start a successful career in financial services. You can join us in one of several business areas and, depending on your qualifications and experience, you can apply to join us as either an analyst or an associate. 

For:             Final year students or recent graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any disciplines from a recognized university
Duration:    24 months
Start date:  July 2024

Who can apply?
To be considered for the placement, you will:
•    Apply as a recent graduate, final year undergraduate, or master’s student in any discipline; 
•    Possess GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline; 
•    Be available to work as full time from Q1 2024 onwards; 
•    Have to be fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage); and 
•    Demonstrate methodical, logical, solution-driven thinking, with commercial awareness and a keen interest in latest finance topics as well as market trends.

What you will do?

The securities Services Business of BNP Paribas is among the world leaders in the securities services industry.

Responsibilities

The graduate will be integrated within the Hong Kong Client Delivery Team and will be supporting a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  1. Support for COO / Head of Client Delivery;
    • Supporting the COO/head of Client Delivery with their responsibilities (e.g. presentation preparation, headcount analysis, meeting arrangements etc.
  2. Investment and Fund Services Operations;
    • Supporting the audit process for fund clients;
      • Assisting with report generation and delivery to auditors
      • Monitoring the status of the fund audits & the preparation of fund financial statements
    • Contributing to the onboarding process for new business;
      •  Assisting with the set-up of report schedulers, pricing matrix, fund fact document etc.
      • Completion of onboarding/offboarding checklists 
    • Service level agreement updates;
      • Co-ordinating the update of client service level agreements, working together with operation team leads and the client services team
    • Assisting with preparation of Key performance Indicators.
  3. Banking Services Operations

    • Assisting the team with BAU task;

      • Helping to settle instructions, generation of settlement checking reports etc. 

    • Consolidation of documents for audits and other requests. 

  4. Transversal Business Implementation and Transformation / Change 
    • Supporting the team with new client onboardings & terminations 
    • Assisting with the account opening / closing process 
    • Co-ordination of meetings with internal stakeholders

      • Demonstrating a keen interest in the Banking Industry,
      • Strong analytical mindset and synthetic mind. Ability to write in a concise way,
      • Ability to multi-task and to priorities tasks efficiently  
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French and/or Cantonese are a plus.
      • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
