What is this position about?
Performance Manager covering Regional Global Banking APAC and supporting BNP Paribas Securities Services for SG
• Review and control over data quality of the Metier PnL
• Perform monthly and quarterly reporting
• Analyse the performance of Métiers and monitor its metrics
• Coordination with Metier’s Business Management

What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like? 

Direct Responsibilities
• Review and control over data quality of the Métier PnL 
o Liaison with Regional PM team for managed view and client contribution figures 
o Tracking of any change in portfolio structure and assessment of impact
o Control and Analysis of revenues => ability to explain variances (vs. prior periods, vs. budget, by activities…) – inclusive IOE on quarterly basis
o Control and Analysis of direct expenses / headcounts => being in a position to explain variances (vs. prior periods, vs. budget, …)
o Monitoring of internal Métier allocation keys (ensure they are reviewed on regular basis and kept relevant, ensure any recharging to other Métiers / Region is validated by all stakeholders before being implemented)
o Analysis and consistency controls over indirect allocated expenses impacting Métiers (Global reach components)
o Specific analysis of direct managed expenses
• Perform monthly and quarterly reporting
o Scope: Flash revenues/Best Guess, Business Reviews, other specific reporting to regional or local team heads
o Pre control of reporting data quality and providing value added comments
o Analysis and discussion with Métiers on a regular basis in order to understand business environment and business evolution
o Ensure adequacy and relevancy of available piloting tools offered to Métier’s management; maintain a comprehensive repository  
o Proactively contribute to the review, maintenance and optimization of reporting production 
o Ensure adequate archiving and tracking of official reporting produced  
• Analyze the performance of Métiers and monitor its metrics
o Perform regular forecast / prospective analysis
o Propose ad hoc analysis over specific performance indicators
o Organize and animate the Budget exercise
• Coordination with Métier’s Business Management
o Create regular communication forums with the métiers to be informed of any structural or strategic changes impacting their financials
o Communication to the Métier’s BM of regulatory or internal evolutions with potential impact in Métier’s performance
Transversal
• Handle ad-hoc requests from Head Office or business lines
• Contribute to BNPP internal permanent control framework

• University graduate or equivalent
• Financial background
• Certified accountant is a plus
• Proficient with numbers 
• Strong analytical skills, proactive and autonomous

• Organizational skills 
• Good inter personal and communication skills, client oriented attitude
• Good understanding of BNP Paribas organization and strategy
• Fluent in English
