What is this position about?
The primary purpose of the role is to manage part of the portfolio of syndicated loans where BNPP is acting as Agent in accordance with the established processes.
The Agency professional is also instrumental in ensuring alignment of processes and approaches vis-a-vis external and internal stakeholders, including business partners and Agency management. The incumbent drives or contributes to continuous process improvements or other projects.
The role requires direct connections with external and internal stakeholders. He/ She reports directly or functionally to the Head of Regional Agency, [Singapore / Hong Kong / Tokyo] Branch and Head of Regional Agency APAC.
What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?
Primary Role Responsibilities
Perform the following key agency missions:
• Understand on finance documents especially on the agency and operational aspects and implications.
• Ensure satisfaction of conditions precedent prior to loan drawdown and conditions subsequent thereafter.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, legal counsels and other external parties, coordinate funds flow, in ensuring smooth closing.
• Facilitate waiver / amendment requests / consent count or other enquiry from either clients or lenders.
• Monitor submission of covenants or other reports during the life of the deal.
• Safekeeping of originals and security documents, release of securities upon full repayment or prepayment.
• Calculate financial covenants that is under Agency scope.
• Loan administration: i) liaise with clients and other lenders for all loan drawdown, roll-overs, rate fixings, prepayments, loan transfers, audit requests etc; & (ii) perform calculation, maintain all internal loan records and prepare payment instructions to Operations, directly or as supervisor to another team member
Contribute to the homogeneity of the regional setup by abiding to prevailing procedures and risk control management and providing KPIs or other management reporting elements.
Participate in project initiatives contributing to continuous organization or process improvements.

A key role in the Regional Global Markets & ALMT Compliance Governance Model and a member of the regional Compliance team.
Support the Regional Head of Global Equities Compliance and the Regional Head of Prime Services Compliance, by helping to coordinate Prime Services coverage-related activities and action plans.
Provides compliance advice and challenge to Business and other stakeholders in all jurisdictions across APAC in Prime Services. The incumbent will have knowledge in most if not all of the following areas:
Prime Services (such as synthetic prime brokerage, stock borrowing and lending), Equities Sales and Trading, compliance-relevant topics focused on Market Integrity including good working knowledge of listed exchange and OTC trading venue rule books, familiar with market abuse risks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willing to learn, tenacious, hardworking and enthusiastic. The candidate must possess good communication and social skills to be a team player and work at all levels. Independent minded, with good command of written and spoken English. Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with legal documentation for electronic trading agreements is a significant benefit.

Specific Qualifications Required
- University graduate with major in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Law or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience, preferably in the Compliance department of a financial institution, with knowledge of Global Markets Global Equities compliance issues as set out above. Possess knowledge of HKMA/ SFC requirements (e.g., SFC Code of Conduct), as well as regional and global regulatory requirements and their practical application.
- The candidate should be a professional with regulatory and related industry experience. This will entail sufficient experience and a good understanding of the regulatory environment and the key challenges and developments which the business as well as the wider industry faces.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall administrative and secretarial support to APAC CEO
- Organization of meetings, committees & schedules in timely manner within priorities and urgencies, and coordinate a complex and rapidly changing multi-time zone calendar, Leaving time for meetings preparation and Business Strategy Coordinate meetings across multiple time zones and be on standby to provide technical assistance if necessary
- Coordinate with Head of Business Management to ensure the APAC CEO and key stakeholders are adequately prepared for meetings and other engagements (e.g. townhall and external panel events)
- Handling of confidential documentation and correspondence as requested
- Keep CEO APAC informed of any relevant information for the proper functioning of the business and escalating high priority issues
- Prepare travel arrangements (Air & Ground transfers, accommodations, and visa application) ensuring smooth logistic of the CEO APAC
- Contribute to the organization, booking of venues and coordination of the Regional Management Meetings/Off-sites or any other event in HK or in Asia requiring EA’s assistance.

Essential qualifications & experience
- Degree qualified
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience providing outstanding administrative support to C-suite, preferably within financial or professional services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin would be beneficial
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly motivated and proactive individual who is a positive team player to support APAC CEO and lead a small team of team secretaries

Primary Role Responsibilities
Drive engaging content development to enhance client experience
• Drive engaging content development to enhance client experience
• Develop & maintain client friendly marketing materials in both English and Chinese including writing and proof-reading content as well as creating new content and content related to creative ideas, activations or concepts.
• Take ownership of weekly investment forum from arranging the meeting with product specialists to preparing the presentation deck and execution every Monday.
• Prepare creative and concise content using video production tools including writing scripts, filming and editing.
• Monitor market and competitor trends to identify opportunities.
Events management

The Local Regulatory Reporting (LRR), sub‑team within APAC F&RS, is dedicated to strengthening the regulatory‑reporting platform for all APAC locations. Leveraging regional expertise in data engineering, modern reporting technologies and regulatory best practices, we mitigate local regulatory risk in a cost‑efficient manner. To keep pace with an ever‑evolving regulatory landscape, our team has grown to roughly 50 professionals, comprising software engineers, business analysts, data engineers and project managers. This multidisciplinary group works together in an innovative, collaborative environment, supported by the latest technology stacks and agile project approaches.
At the core of our solution is Flexel, an in‑house, highly flexible and user‑friendly Regulatory Reporting Platform that supports more than 1,000 regulatory reports across APAC countries. Key Responsibilities
Regional Regulatory Reporting
- To gather complex business requirement and able to articulate in clear manner
- To perform in-depth analysis to support the business case
- Participate in report & platform development, code review & improvements, testing, support
- To support system testing (e.g. SIT & UAT)
- To prepare system documentation (e.g. technical/ function spec, user guide)
- Provide support to resolve production incident
Process Reengineering and Platform Development:
- To perform data analysis, data modelling & process automation
- To contribute on data transformation, system module design & development
- Design and develop robust, performant software components to support regulatory reporting platform
- Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements
- Assist with recognizing and upholding digital security systems to protect delicate information
- Provide architectural expertise and direction, and assistance to the teammates for system and software development
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility

Assist Project Management:
- Ensure regular and efficient communication within the project team and to the stakeholders

- Manage change management process and releases deployment, align to Group standard and policy
Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)
- Proven ability to manage cross‑functional stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Proven experience in systems or data-warehouse development project on large-scale multi-region applications. Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and enterprise architecture
- Solid hands-on experience of database design and SQL, PL/SQL turning, data structure & data modelling with at least one major database technology (Oracle preferred) and best practices associated.
- Strong knowledge of any core programming language such as Java / C# with solid understanding of object-oriented programming and good knowledge of its ecosystem, plus scripting languages (Python, Shell)
- Familiarity with modern web technologies & stateless architecture. Experience in BPMN tools, big data and cloud platform technologies like Apache spark, Hadoop, Camunda, IBM DMZ would be an advantage.
- Experience designing dimensional data models and data‑lineage documentation
- Proficiency in ETL data transformation and experience in a DevOps/CI‑CD environment

- Solid backgrounds in banking project with a good understanding of accounting, banking product and front to back system flow.

Direct Responsibilities:
1.Participate in the audit team assignments and special reviews (when required by regulators, business lines, or senior management)
-Contribute to the planning and preparation of the assignment e.g. understanding the methodology to be applied, acquiring a deep knowledge of the activities to be covered, understanding the detailed technologies, gathering relevant key figures, etc.
-Develop a thorough understanding of the activities within the scope of the assignment, its strategy and governance, and the related risks.
